DEPRESSION OVER WEST CENTRAL BAY AND ADJOINING SOUTH ORISHA COAST.

 Depression near the latitude 19.7º North and 85.0º East, and move north west wards with a speed of 10kmph. 

 about 70 km east-northeast of Gopalpur and 50 km southwest of Puri. The system is very likely to move west-northwestwards and cross Odisha coast between Gopalpur and Puri by tonight, the 18th July 2017.

For this reason heavy to very heavy rain lashing over the all over orisha, and north andhra pradesh coast.

Gopalpur  16.6 mm,

cuttak  51.6 mm, 

Dhenkanal 58mm,

Bhabani Patna  72mm,

And north andhra pradesh recorded 93.4 mm rainfall in past 24 hours.

 Warning:

(i) Heavy Rainfall warning: Rainfall at most places with heavy to very heavy rainfall at a few places and isolated extremely heavy rainfall is very likely over south Odisha during next 48 hrs and over north coastal Andhra Pradesh during next 24 hrs.
