Rainfall is mostly normal in this monsoon, excess in some areas.

West bengal is receive mostly normal rainfall upto today from 1st june, 2017. Excess rainfall lashing some region.

Past few month is receive heavy to very heavy rainfall in gangatic west bengal and nebourhood areas, some land low or depression was effecting our region, for this reason flood situation create in last month, and north bengal receive strong rainfall activity which is decrease monsoonal rainfall deficiency in north bengal in past few week. 

We are recorded Monsoonal rainfall in 1st june 2017, to 22nd August 2017 in west bengal.

Excess rain fall receive 54% in Bankura,

33% of excess in Bardwan, Purulya 27% , Howrah 25%, North 24 pargana 20% of excess rainfall.

Rainfall receive Normal in,

East and west mednapur, Nadia, Birbhum, Hoogly, Malda, North dinajpur,  Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling district of west bengal.

Some district receive bellow normal rainfall in this season in south 24 pargana -19% bellow normal rainfall, Murshidabad -14% bellow normal rainfall , South dinajpur -7% deficiency , cochbehar  -12% deficiency of rain fall in this monsoonal season.

we are expecting this deficiency will be reduce in some weeks.
