Kolkata is now feeling really warm weather past few days. Night temperature can not to be fall in past few days and minimum temperature recorded 3°C or 4°C above normal in past few days.

Other side a western disterbance hitting north Indian state of India and effecting directly central India also. So northerly wind can't be able to reach our west bengal region with Kolkata also.
Our West bengal winter season depending on mostly northerly wind and it's strength. Now few days all this weather phenomenon create a temporary blockage of the path of northerly cold wind.
But now situation is change, Western Disterbance weakening rapidly and huge snowfall occured many places over hilly region of north india, and have no possibility of other system in Indian land which can be block the northerly cold wind.
So northerly wind can easily chance to enter the West bengal and adjoining region in next 48 to 72 hours.

So then we facing severe Winter in all over Gangatic West bengal and kolkata in this weekend and this situation will be continue next 4 or 5 Days. Temperature may be drop significantly in kolkata around 13°C.
