Review 2017 weather and Climatological phenomenon of West Bengal and India.
We are now end of the year 2017. Now we spend just a few hours and will start a new year 2018.
All people of west bengal and india whose are spend a the year 2017. Different different types of climatological phenomenon face people of west bengal.
Many times we saw warm and uncomfortable hot summer in first week of April. Some times we are waiting for Good shower in August, peak season of monsoon. Some times we facing severe rainfall with storm, which was fall in pour flood situation in many places over Gangatic West bengal. Some times we threaten by severe cyclone over Bay of Bengal region. Over all different types of weather situation can be found in this year 2017.
Come to see this year how many strong system developing over bay of Bengal and effecting details.
1st Cyclone Marutha, Which is Developing 15th April and impact April 17 over the mayanmar coast as a cyclonic Storm.
2nd cyclone mora, Which is severe cyclonic storm and catagory 1 cyclone.
It's maximum wind speed reach 110 kmph and impact to the Bangladesh coast as a Severe Cyclone Mora in 30th may.
Deep Depression 03B enter developing over north bay of Bengal and enter the north orisha coast in 12th June. For this reason Monsoon enter the gangatic West bengal and very heavy rainfall lashing this time all over west bengal.
Depression 04B developing same region of orisha coast. But it's mainly effecting the south orisha coast. And Heavy rainfall effecting the north Andhra pradesh region. But Gangatic West bengal was a mainly dry at this time at this season.
But Land Depression 04L lashing good monsoonal shower in gangatic West bengal at the time of July 26th.
September was mainly dry all over Gangatic West bengal and hot and humid weather condition prevailed the same time. But scattered and isolated rainfall effecting over gangatic West bengal for the monsoon trough and land circulation.
But when we enter the October, then a Deep Depression forming over Coastal Sundarvan region and over the same region. Torential rain with gust wind 65 kmph. All over Gangatic West bengal effecting by this system in 8th to 10th October 2017.
Again Depression was form over central Bay of Bengal and move to North words and enter the north orisha coast and further enter the gangatic West bengal, at the time of Diwali.
So Diwali of kolkata, Was effecting by rain and windy. Completely different diwali spend the people of kolkata in this year.
This system continue effecting 18th to 23rd October 2017.
Depression 06B forming over west Central Bay of Bengal and goes to North north east words near the coast of orisha in November 16th or 17th. But this system completely disipited before the landfall in land for cool sea surface temperature. But kolkata received drizzle rain and cloudy day.
Cyclone ockhi, Which is most unpredicted cyclone, which is grow up its strength unexpectedly and huge Rainfall activity over karela, Tamilnaru, and srilanka coast around December 3rd and 4th. This system travel long path from srilanka coast of Bay of Bengal to Gujarat coast of Arabian sea. This system most strongest system of the year. Because of maximum surface wind speed recorded 160 kmph around the centre. Lakshadwip , completely damaged by this system.
Another Depression, and last system of this year 08B developing over South Bay of Bengal and travel to the Orisha coast and before the Landfall it's completely disipited for the cool sea surface temperature over sea.
This year in west bengal overall monsoon rain rate is normal, but some places of gangatic West bengal receive above normal rainfall and some places receive bellow normal rainfall in north bengal.
In this year Kolkata Receive total 3865.6 mm. rainfall.
